Upcoming Hotel in Manila Brings the Gym Into Your Room

Have you ever delayed — and ultimately postponed — going to the hotel gym just because it’s a handful of floors away from the comforts of your hotel bed?

Business travelers in the Philippines will love this new concept in Philippines from TRYP by Wyndham Manila, a hotel set to open in the first quarter next year near Mall of Asia. The hotel plans to introduce its signature Fitness Rooms, or guestrooms with fitness equipment.

Fitness Rooms are special guestrooms that could have high-end treadmill, elliptical, or an exercise bike inside, allowing guests to do fitness activities with privacy. As part of the room package, TRYP also says it will supply the guest’s workout gear, t-shirt and shorts, exercise mat, mineral water, and extra towels.

That’s just tip of the iceberg of TRYP as a brand; the hotel aims to roll out a menu of room types spread across 191 rooms that guests can choose from.

“We will have the specialized guests rooms in the Manila property, as this what sets the TRYP brand apart. The rooms fitted with bunk beds will be the will be the Family Loft Suites, while our Fitness Room will have exercise equipment that guests can use in the privacy of their room. There will also be Premium Rooms and Penthouse units,” says Isabela Prieto, TRYP’s brand communications manager.
